Exporting OpenOffice Impress (or Powerpoint) Presentations to HTML

When using the HTML export filter in OpenOffice Impress (the presentation package), you end up with HTML pages that contain mostly graphics. That's ok sometimes, but sometimes you want an export format that is text-based and can be read by search engines, scren readers etc.

This XML export filter for Impress is exporting the text portion of a presentation into one HTML file.

Currently the formating is very limited, but I'm working on that.

Add the XSLT file as a new XML filter in the Extras menu. The screenshots are from a German OpenOffice: screenshot 1, screenshot 2

The filter used to work in OpenOffice 1.x, but seems to be broken in 2.0.x.
